H.E. Eng. Abdullatif A. Al-Othman served as the Governor and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) from May 2012 till April 2016.

Mr. Al-Othman was also the former Chief Financial Officer and Sr. VP Engineering & Project Management at Saudi Aramco.

He brings over 35 years of experience of planning and managing Oil and Gas Projects, Corporate Finance, Investment, Business Development and International Business Relations. H.E. Al-Othman began his career in 1979 with Saudi Arabian Bechtel- Engineering Office, then joined Saudi Aramco in 1981 as an Engineering and Project Management Engineer.

During his tenure, he worked on the Gas Gathering Project, the Qasim Refinery Project, the Southwest Refinery Project, the Ras Tanura Refinery Modernization Project and the Marjan Field Completion amongst others. In 2001, he was appointed Vice President of Saudi Aramco Affairs. He later served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Saudi Aramco. His last post at Saudi Aramco was Senior Vice President Engineering and Project Management.

Eng. Al-Othman is the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors of the following companies:
• King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Endowment Investment Company.
• Aramco Trading Company.
• Sadara Chemical Company- A joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical.
• Saudi Aramco Investment Management Co. (Pension fund)
• Saudi Industrial Investment Company (Dussur) – A partnership between Public Investment Fund, Saudi Aramco and SABIC.

Eng. Al-Othman is also one of the founders of the GCC Board of Directors Institute (GCC BDI) in 2006.

H.E. Al-Othman earned a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in 1979 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a Sloan Fellow in 1998.

Ian Davis, with his notable leadership as the former Chairman of Rolls-Royce plc, continues to make significant contributions to the corporate world. Currently, he chairs Thoughtworks and holds prominent roles as a Non-Executive Director for Johnson & Johnson Inc and Majid Al Futtaim Holdings. He is also a Senior Advisor to several esteemed private firms and companies.

His vast experience encompasses diverse sectors and leadership roles. From 2013–2021, he chaired Rolls-Royce plc. Between 2010–2020, he served as a Non-Executive Director for BP plc, where he took on the role of Senior Independent (Lead) Director. His commitment to public service and education was evident when he served as a Non-Executive Director of the UK Cabinet Office and of Teach for All, an educational nonprofit, from 2011–2017.

Further, as the Senior Partner Emeritus of McKinsey & Company, Ian Davis has left an indelible mark, having devoted over 30 years to the firm. His leadership peaked when he served as Chair and Worldwide Managing Partner of McKinsey between 2003 and 2009.

Davis has also been associated with Big Society Capital, a pioneering social impact investing organization.

Charlotte Valeur has over 40 years of experience in the finance industry, primarily as an investment banker. She is an experienced FTSE Chair, Non-Executive Director and corporate governance expert, serving on a variety of boards - as well as delivering training, conducting board reviews and advising boards on corporate governance through her company Global Governance Group. She published the open access book “Effective Directors - The right Questions to Ask (QTA) in 2021.

She is a visiting Professor in Governance and leadership at University of Strathclyde and on the advisory board of the Moller Institute at Churchill College, Cambridge University.

Charlotte has served as a director of 8 public companies, including three appointments as the Chair. She has taken part in a complete restructuring of NTR PIc, the sale of REG Plc to BlackRock and, as Chair, overseen a $8bln Merger of FTSE250 Kennedy Wilson Europe
Real Estate PIc with its US NYSE listed parent. She currently Chairs Blackstone Loan
Financing Pic and is a NED of Digital Infrastructure 9 Plc.

Charlotte also has board experience with a range of unlisted companies including international engineering firm Laing O’Rourke, BT Pension Fund, Chair of Institute of Directors U.K. and is the Founder and Chair of Board Apprentice and the Institute of Neurodiversity.
