Mohammed Al Shroogi is the former Co-Chief Executive Officer of the Global Investment Group Investcorp. He joined in 2009 as President of Gulf Business. Mr. Al Shroogi spearheaded the firm’s recovery from the global financial crisis with a significant strengthening of the Gulf distribution franchise, leading to record levels of fundraising. Mr. Al Shroogi was also instrumental in building Investcorp’s Corporate Investment Franchise in the GCC and Turkey and helped Investcorp to become one of the most active private equity investors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Mr. Al Shroogi joined Investcorp from Citigroup where he was Division Executive for the Middle East and North Africa region and CEO for the UAE. He had a 33 year career with Citigroup in Bahrain, London and the UAE, among his many achievements at Citigroup was establishing Citibank Bahrain as a major trading room between Asia and Europe.
Mohammed is Vice Chairman of Al Baraka Group, Board Member at Wisayah (Saudi Aramco’s Pension Fund), Board Member of The Health Insurance Fund, Chairman of L’azurde Company for Jewelry, Chairman of GCC Board Directors Institute (BDI), Board Member at APM Terminals for management of ports, and Board Member Investcorp GCC.
Mohammed attended The Kuwait University in 1971 and then attended the Harvard Business School Executive Management Program in 1988.
H.E. Eng. Abdullatif A. Al-Othman served as the Governor and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) from May 2012 till April 2016.
H.E. Eng. Al-Othman was also the former Chief Financial Officer and Sr. VP Engineering & Project Management at Saudi Aramco.
He brings over 35 years of experience of planning and managing Oil and Gas Projects, Corporate Finance, Investment, Business Development and International Business Relations. H.E. Al-Othman began his career in 1979 with Saudi Arabian Bechtel- Engineering Office, then joined Saudi Aramco in 1981 as an Engineering and Project Management Engineer.
During his tenure, he worked on the Gas Gathering Project, the Qasim Refinery Project, the Southwest Refinery Project, the Ras Tanura Refinery Modernization Project and the Marjan Field Completion amongst others. In 2001, he was appointed Vice President of Saudi Aramco Affairs. He later served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Saudi Aramco. His last post at Saudi Aramco was Senior Vice President Engineering and Project Management.

H.E. Mohammed N. AlJasser is currently the CEO BIAC, a PIF portfolio Company. H.E. is also the Chairman of Cipher, a cybersecurity firm in Saudi Arabia. Previously, he served for four years as the Assistant Minister, at the Ministry of Human Resources & Social Development (HRSD). As the Chief Transformation and Operating officer of the Ministry, he led Branch Network, Customer Experience, Shared Services, HR, Digital Transformation as well as Privatization & Outsourcing Program. Mr. AlJasser was a member of several steering committees during his time at HRSD including Digital Transformation, Customer Experience, and Internal Audit. He also chaired several Ministry wide Committees including GRC, Cyber Security, and Data Strategy & Management.
Before joining the Ministry, H.E. Mr. AlJasser, has held many positions in his 22 years of private sector career including Managing Director for Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Saudi Arabia. Managing Director (CEO) of Inma Technologies, a fully owned subsidiary of AlTurki Holding. Vice President for Enterprise Business Unit at Saudi Telecommunication Company (STC) and he was a Board Member and Chairman of NRC Committee at Awal, an STC subsidiary, currently branded as STC Solutions Company. HE worked with STC, for more than 6 years, after a career of 10 years with multinational companies in the ICT industry such as Motorola, Ericsson, and Cisco.
H.E. Obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics from Seattle University, USA, in 1997, an Executive MBA in 2011 from University of Leicester, UK. Mr. AlJasser is currently seeking an executive master’s degree in change at Insead Business School where he has been an alumnus via executive education since 2003. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School (HBS) since 2015. Mr. AlJasser has been a YPO member since July 2021, and IMD Business school alumnus since December 2021.
Founder and Chairman of AlSulaiman Group. Member and Chairman of the board in a number of companies in the private, government and non-profit sectors. He was a board member in the Social Development Bank, the Privatization Center, Monshaat, Savola Group, Al Maraei Company, SAMI, and Arabian Cement Company among many others. He still serves as a board member in several organizations among which are Jeddah Airports Company, Waed (an ARAMCO subsidiary) and is
the chairman of several companies in the Alsulaiman Group.
He has a great passion for the development of the Private Sector in Saudi Arabia, and this led him to become the first governor of the General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) in 2016. Before that he was the first to establish a business accelerator in KSA to support startups in the Kingdom and chaired the first center set up to support SMEs in Saudi Arabia, in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He also founded and headed Venture Capital Bank, Venture Capital Investment Company and Unaizah Investment Company all of which had a focus on investing in startups and early-stage ventures.
In addition to his support of entrepreneurship in KSA, he supported the private sector through the many roles he had in the chambers of commerce. He served as the first chairman of the Human Resources Development Center in the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and later as the chairman of the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce. He was the first chairman of the following Joint Business Councils in the Saudi Chambers of Commerce: The Saudi-Malaysian Business Council; the SaudiTurkish Business Council; and The Saudi-Swedish Business Council. He also served as the co-chairman of the American-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the chairman of the executive committee for the development of the Chambers of Commerce.
Today his involvement in this space continues as the founding chairman of the National Family Business Center and also as the Chairman of the National Committee of Not for Profit Companies in the Saudi Chambers of Commerce.
His second passion is education. He served as a board member in four Saudi Universities and is presently still a board member in one of them and is the chairman of three educational companies and an educational NGO.
He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration in addition to an MBA from the USA plus a Doctorate degree in Systems Thinking in 2004 from Hull University in the UK and a graduate professional degree in Business Economics from Harvard University in 2020.
Mana Alkhamsan has been the CEO and member of the Board of Trustees of the Financial Academy, he has more than 17 years of experience in the field of human capability development and training and has held several positions at the Institute of Public Administration, including Executive Vice President of the Business Center and General Manager of Program Design and Development, as well as supervising several initiatives, including the establishment of the Financial Academy, holds a Masters degree in computer science from the University of New England.
Currently holds the position of CEO of Aseer Region Development Authority since 2022, The Authority is working on implementing the “Qimam and Shim” strategy after its approval by the Council of Ministers, and the Authority is now supervising the implementation of this strategy in a way that achieves development and its direction in the Asir region.
Previously, Hashim held the position of Advisor to the Minister of Investment, responsible for leading the National Investment Strategy file and establishing the implementation unit associated with it in the Ministry. He worked as an advisor in the Ministry of Economy and Planning, where he was responsible for several files, including reforming the retirement system, financial policy (under the name of the Financial Balance Program, which was later transformed into the Financial Sustainability Program, one of the programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030), and was seconded as the head of the National Center for Strategic Development Studies, and worked at McGraw-Hill Education Company, first as Business Development Manager and then as the company’s manager in the Kingdom. He held the position of Investment Manager at Manara Company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and worked in the general planning of Saudi Aramco as an analyst of the global economy and oil markets.
Hashim obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research and Financial Engineering with two certificates in Applied Mathematics and Engineering Management Systems from Princeton University in the United States of America in 2001. He then obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University in the United States of America in 2007.
In her role as Chief Governance Officer in the Red Sea Development Company Group, Maryam leads the Governance, Risk and Compliance division (GRC). She is responsible for implementing effective, transparent and accountable governance practices. Her role expands further into identifying, assessing and managing the company’s internal and external risks in order to support the Board and Executive Management in executing and achieving their objectives. She has led the development of the Internal Control Framework as well as the Enterprise Risk Management and Resilience Framework and is responsible for monitoring the company’s performance against them.
