Hassan leads the Capital Markets practice in the Middle East region and has nearly 20 years of experience with the last 16 years in the UAE supporting clients with IPO readiness and remediation projects, IPO executions and bond listing transactions, as well as financial reporting advisory support.

Hassan has advised on 100+ bond listings, 50+ IPO readiness and related ECM projects. Hassan has extensive knowledge of listing regulatory frameworks as he has worked on IPOs on a number of regional stock exchanges including DFM, ADX, Nasdaq Dubai, Tadawul, Muscat Securities Market, and Cairo Stock Exchange. and other regional stock exchanges.

Hassan has also led IPOs and other Equity Capital Markets related transactions of Middle East companies on international exchanges including the London Stock Exchange, New York Stock Exchange and Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Hassan’s recent IPO experience includes supporting a number of UAE and Saudi entities with their listings in the last few years.

Norma has 25 years of experience with PwC and is a Partner in our Transaction Services Team based in Dubai focused on financial due diligence.

She currently leads our Retail and Consumer markets practice across the Middle East. She has led numerous financial due diligence deals and valuation projects in the retail and consumer sector including fashion, F&B, Consumer products and others in the Middle East region for large regional families, corporates and private equity clients.

She also works with teams leading other propositions to bring industry specific solutions to PwC clients.

Norma authors the annual PwC publication titled “Consumer Markets Insight Survey” covering consumer behavior in Egypt, KSA and the UAE and more recently the pulse survey post Covid. She also leads PwC ME’s Inclusion and Diversity proposition across the Middle East.
